We are pleased to introduce you to James, a young highland cow that lives on a farm in Asheville, North Carolina.
Seems pretty ordinary, huh? Well that’s where ordinary ends and extraordinary begins for this special cow. At birth, James suffered brain damage, commonly called “Dummy Calf Syndrome” and couldn’t nurse naturally.
His loving owners stepped in to hand rear him, inside their home where he became best friends with the family dogs to the point he thinks he’s part of their pack!
James was rejected when he made his return to the farm and his herd, so owners Emily and Adam decided to move him into their backyard with their chickens and his new canine friends; he much prefers it there.
Watch the video below and share with some of your unlikely friends!
