US Army soldier Mr. Glascott was returning home from overseas service to take a vacation with his family and celebrate his son’s birthday when a stranger struck up a conversation with him in the airport.
Together they discussed seeing his children and the vacation they had planned, they exchanged contact details and continued their journeys.
Days later Mr. Glascott and his family arrived at Great Wolf Lodge. With his wife, he approached the check-in desk only to be told that his trip had already been paid in full.
It later transpired that the stranger he’d been talking to at the airport was, in fact, the generous donor who had paid for them as a thank you to not only Glascott but his whole family for the family time they all sacrifice.
