There are many things that get people giddy, one of those things is a good public proposal. In fact, the art of proposing is growing in grandeur.
So that’s when Qantas pilot, Captain Dooley Ellis was planned to surprise his girlfriend when she was on one of his flights.
Dooley’s girlfriend, Anna, was traveling on board to South America to visit her family.
He waited for the plane to be up in the air before he began his proposal. Knowing this would be the perfect opportunity to pop the question, Captain Ellis switched on the intercom and began speaking.
Dooley started with a standard message to the passengers before continuing to speak directly to Anna. He then asked if she would marry him before leaving the cockpit to join her and get down on one knee. Needless to say, Anna was in complete surprise.
