A small child is lucky to be alive today after attempting to cross a busy street.
The Norwegian elementary student had just exited his school bus when he ran across the path of an oncoming semi truck.
Two students ran behind the large green school bus and attempted to cross the road as their bus was driving away.
Neither the children nor the truck driver could see what was about to happen. Fortunately the driver behind the bus could see everything and he slammed on his horn and started flashing his lights.
The truck driver was paying attention and his brakes were in good shape stopping the big semi just inches from the child.
The entire incident was captured by another driver’s dash cam.
