Sickness has a tendency to turn even the most put-together people into helplessly needy children. In fact, I have a kid, and I can tell you that as a baby she has handled all 3 of her illnesses with much more composure than her parents.
For anyone who’s ever had to put up with their spouse being a total sad sack from the common cold, you deserve a medal. Alas, we can only give you something to laugh at, but we’re here for you in solidarity.

Hubs and I both have the flu.

Husband has a cold.
I know because he's done nothing but complain about it for two hours straight.
If it doesn't kill him, I might.

I'll be on my deathbed and my husband will still say, "Oh man. I've got the worst cold ever. The. Worst."

Well my husband has a cold so apparently the next 5-7 days of my life are going to be like an episode of Grey's Anatomy…🙄
