We’re following a heartbreaking story out of Virginia after a girl and her dog were killed on a busy road in Rockbridge County.
12-year old Jennarae Goodbar chased her dog Cash into the street after he ran away, resulting in a tragic collision that claimed both of their lives. Now, her family is burying the pair together in honor of their powerful bond.

The Goodbar family set up a GoFundMe to cover funeral expenses, which bypassed its goal in about 48 hours.
Mourners are praising Jennarae’s courage and bravery.
